As all of us are aware Acharya Shree Tulsiji of Ladnun (Rajasthan), was a spiritual leader with millions of followers all over the World. During his visit in Chennai, a few years back, he received an overwhelming .welcome, not only from the members of the Jain community, but from all the citizens of the city. He was the initiator of the Anurvat Movement providing guidelines to the members of the society enabling them to follow universally applicable spiritual guidelines amidst the myriad compulsion of day to day secular life. Acharya Shreeji was a great scholar and authored a number of books apart from delivering many spiritual addresses all over the country.

In order to commemorate, his contributions to the community at large, a group of Jains of Tamil Nadu established the Ganadipathy Tulsi’s Jain Engineering College at Vellore, not far from Chennai, open to everybody, irrespective of caste or creed or sect. The College has been doing excellent work during the past decades. Now the College has a student population of 2200 and provides training for five undergraduate streams and three postgraduate streams in Engineering with MBA & MCA.. The facilities provided and the caliber of the faculty are the best available in the present day and the excellent results proves the efforts of the entire team at the College.

We, therefore, thought it appropriate that a website providing comprehensive details of the College and its contribution in the field of technical education in the State would be useful. The website provides all these particulars updated till now and the messages from the Secretary, the College Management and the Principal would provide the modest background to the performance of the College.

The community of Students and Faculty must be aware by now of the changes in the ethos of the College coming into effect, consequent to the recent change in the management. Considerable tightening of the structure of administration, review of performance at every level and streamlining of systems have been introduced and I as a representative of the management would like to assure the group of parents, faculty and the student community that we will do our very best to make the College, one of the best in the State.

The management is sure that in the nor too distant future the College would throw out an excellent stream of motivated and well qualified graduates and postgraduates to serve the Nation in its progress towards prosperity.
