ObjectiveDepartment of Business Administration is equipped with experienced faculty members, excellent infrastructure and modern computer facilities. Special care is taken not only to develop the academic skills but also soft skills of the students through teaching methods like News hour, Case study, Seminars, Simulation exercises, Management games, Industrial Visits, Summer Projects etc.,. Eminent Academicians and Industrialist regularly deliver guest lectures and conduct interactive sessions with our students. Our commitment is to produce successful entrepreneurs and efficient Business Managers, who can influence people, offer strategic direction, and make good use of financial, human, technological and material resources. DevelopmentThe department of Business Administration commenced from the year 2008 with an intake of 36 students. The department has grown steadily and today it has 08 highly dedicated faculty members with 120 disciplined students. The department organizes Guest Lectures, Seminars and various training programs with the help of industry people and academicians of national and international repute to help students to keep abreast with the latest developments in the field of Management Studies.

The basic purpose behind every IV is to nurture future business leaders and entrepreneurs in various sectors of Economy, Government and Non Profit Organizations with focus on value creation and responsibility towards all stakeholders for a sustainable society based on Human Values, Ethics, Science and Indian Culture. The Placement record of the department is excelling and is towering every year. The department poses an excellent and progressive academic record. Above 50% of our students have been placed in various reputed companies like INDIA INFOLINE, AMBALAL FINANCIAL SERVICES, ICON, Mahindra etc.. Every year the department organizes a State level Management symposium “SANKALP” which attracts participation from numerous colleges from different parts of the state. The department Conducted a one day workshop on Entrepreneurship Development titled “Today’s Youth, Tomorrow’s Entrepreneurs” in association with National Small Industries Corporation ( NSIC)– Technical Services Centre, Chennai (A govt. of India enterprise) on 24th March 2010. The purpose of the workshop is to highlight the concept of starting a business and the various facilities available from the financial institutons .A total of 201 students registered for the workshop in and around vellore. InfrastructureThe department has spacious classrooms, with a well-equipped laboratory. The department has a computer lab with 33 systems, all in a networked environment with un- interrupted power supply. These systems have the recent and most updated Softwares like SPSS and they run various platforms such as Windows, Linux, Sun. The department offers free high-speed Internet facility. The Department Library serves as a gateway to promote R&D activities by providing the recent journals and Magazines. The department library provides useful resources to students with books, International Journals, National Journals, Lab Manuals, Question banks and Project Reports.
