Rotract Club

Rotary Club of Vellore has installed the new office bearers of Rotaract Club of Ganadipathy Tulsi’s Jain Engineering College, in the college premises at 3.30 pm on August 4th 2011.  The chief guest for this event was Rtn. PHF. PP. S. Elangovan, District Chairman, Rotaract RI Dist: 3230 and the guest speaker was Rtn. PHF. PP. Bala Muralikrishna, Additional Chairman – Rotary Foundation, RI District: 3230.

Rtn. Ramesh K. Vora, the President of the Rotary Club of Vellore and Rtn. K. Saravanan, Director- Young Generation, Rtn. G. Nanda kumar, Secretary, Rotary club of Vellore  were also present in the installation function.

Ms. Shamma Anu, Immediate Past President of Rotaract Club of GTJEC delivered the welcome address and Rtn. Ramesh K. Vora honoured our college Principal  Dr.R. Prakasam.

The Coordinator of Rotaract of club of GTJEC Mr. D. Durai kumar, Lecturer, Department of Information Technology honoured  our Chief guest Rtn. PHF. PP. S. Elangovan, District Chairman, Rotaract RI Dist: 3230. Immediate past president of Rotaract of club of GTJEC Ms. Shamma Anu honoured our guest speaker  Rtn. PHF. PP. Bala Muralikrishna, Additional Chairman – Rotary Foundation, RI District 3230.

The Chief Guest Rtn. PHF. PP. S. Elangovan, District Chairman, Rotaract RI Dist: 3230 has installed the new president and followed by office bearers. In his inaugural address, he has advised the student members on team building and organization coordination in various welfare activities concerned with Rotaract club and serves the needy in the society.

Mr. Thamaraikannan, II Year EEE has been elected and installed as a President of the year 2011 – 2012, Rotaract Club of GTJEC followed by Ms.V. Manju Priya, II Year IT as Vice president, Mr. Francis Manoj, II year MECH  as Secretary and Mr. Bharath, II Year ECE  as Joint Secretary.

The principal of GTJEC Dr. R. Prakasam has delivered the honour address. During his talk he motivated the Rotaract club members of GTJEC to serve for the poor people and for their needy in society.  Responding to the invitation of Rotaract club, the guest speaker Rtn. PHF. PP. Bala Muralikrishna delivered the keynote address at installation function.

The vice president of Rotaract club of GTJEC Ms. V. Manju priya has delivered vote of thanks.

The special invitees for the Installation function are Prof. R. N. Sundaresan, Vice Principal, GTJEC, Shri. Joseph Augustine, Chief Executive Officer, GTJEC, Immediate Past President Rtn. Thirumaran, Rtn. PP. Prakash Bafna.Mr. Durai Kumar, Coordinator, has organized this installation of Rotaract club of GTJEC. The event was attended by HOD’s, faculties and Rotaract members of GTJEC representing more than 250 members from all the departments in GTJEC.
