The central library had participated in the ISO-9001 certification process along with other units of the Institute. Various quality auditing, both internal as well as external were conducted. non –conformity reports were cleared immediately.

The final certification team also visited and scrutinized the entire written systems and procedures of the central library with other units of Institute.

On the 13th January 2005, BSI and UKAS Management System had awarded the certificate for maintaining the quality systems and procedures.

After this various internal and external quality auditing and scrutinizing are conducted periodically.
